since its the dead of winter, I am going to assume that its a condensate leak, from a plugged trap, or your humidifier has issues.

Just need to know what to tell the Hvac person or to at least know how to speak with him. The humidifier is turned off so hopefully its a clogged drain. Can I pour bleach in the drain? If so Where do I find the pipe to do so?Its a Rheem probably 15yrs old. Thanks

Could be a cracked furnace trap, or a lot of other things. best way to find out what it is. is simply by looking for where it comes from.

If your going to have a tech find it. Simply show him where the furnace is, and answer any questions he has for you.
