water leaking into the furnace when AC is on

Did the water that leaked into the furnace from a possible clogged drain pipe when the ac was on damage the furnace?

over a season it could start to pin hole the heat exchanger cycle the heat to dry off and burn off any mold & muck......sitting at the furnace as the cycle comes up after the burner lights note the shape of the flame and when the supply fan kicks on see if it waves flutters.....

Probably not. Usually the water doesn't hit anything but it can cause problems with electronics if it ran on them.

If its still working, probably not. if it was only a one time thing for a short period of time.
