Water in Furnace

Water from my neighbor's hose went through my open window and down the wall into the furnace vent on the floor.

Should I be concerned? How serious is this?

Thanks.

How much water? 1 gallon or 300 gallons:blink:

not sure
i don't think it can take 300 gallon

One gallon can cause as much damage as 300.
Turn off the power to the furnace and have it checked by a technician.
It should be dried out thoroughly, before its powered up again.
Even still, corrosion from water can cause serious damage to electronic components and must be checked out.
Your neighbors insurance should foot the bill!
