Watch out for this loser!

Occee: “I won't comment on his English because it may not be his first language” – you right on the money – my first language is Russian. But I showed my e-mail to the coworker who doesn’t has any problems with the second language because he knows only one and he told me that a couple of words was misspelled and a couple of words was misplaced, but rest of it was OK! Why then they so harsh on my English? – They just teasing you because they have nothing to say!
Look guys, I understand you trying to help people in need, but why nobody actually helps Sb5115 with his problem? Maybe because, like “nap” said, that he isn’t a HVAC tech or maybe because you never try to resolve issue like this before. But why even try if you don’t know the right solution and didn’t read careful what sb5115 said in his question?

Nobody is trying to resolve his issue because he hasn't asked for help resolving his issue here
He has simply posted to warn us about you

What you are doing shows a lack of honor and ethics, there is no excuse for trolling DIY sites and soliciting payment for advice

And furthermore you have provided absolutely no proof that you know how to fix the problem, and apparently you won't unless someone pays you $20 or is it $40 now

sb5115
Use duct tape
Now PM me and I'll send you my payment info

I agree with what you said except for the part about find a professional
I hang out mostly on th Pest Control forum
All to often I see someone post a question about bees or termites or even just ants and immediately they are told to contact a pro

I am a pro with many years experience and certifications
I have found the main difference between me and them is that I don't have to look up much of the info or I already know where to find it

If it is a more complex question I answer in as lay terms as possible and let that person decide if they can handle it

Many times I see the reason for determining the persons qualifications for doing a job is simply there lack of proper terminology and an inability to grasp the terms used by us pros when we are trying to impress or simply cannot translate into lay vocabulary

Sorry for the hijack but I figure we all agree by now that Ed is not one of us

Ocoee: “Nobody is trying to resolve his issue because he hasn't asked for help resolving his issue here. He has simply posted to warn us about you.” – No, he did, check out the forum.
-“And furthermore you have provided absolutely no proof that you know how to fix the problem, and apparently you won't unless someone pays you $20 or is it $40 now” – in this one at first you are wrong, and at the end you are right.
Look, I gave him a link to my website where he could find everything for himself. There was enough information to understand what kind of experience do I have and in what field, what kind of resolution for his problem he could find some place else or with me. I didn’t push him too much I just gave him an alternative. By the way I would never acting like this if I wouldn’t be 100% sure for the outcome! But he, unfortunately, is very susceptible and you know a result.

nap said that because he is not familiar with the materials used in plumbing. Without further input, I have no reason to believe my ideas and suggestions are not correct. I merely do not have a specific fix (as in exactly what parts a HVAC contractor would use) but have provided direction to investigate and remedy the problem.

What I have seen used (plastic J hooks) to support PVC pipe in similar situations would most definately cause a problem when the pipe expanded. The pipe does not move smoothly.

I simply am not aware of what other types of hangers are available and legal to use in this situation.

Now, if you want to defend you use of the English language:

Nevermind.

I started and ended up with a three page post. I will not bore the others with the corrections but needless to say, there is far more than

So, since you are all about " I know what nobody else in the world knows", what is the problem and what is the solution?

Prove me wrong, if you can.

to nap: Ok, because you are not a professional HVAC tech it would be very difficult for me to prove anything to you – we don’t have a common ground. But I’m not supposed to prove anything to you, my achievements will say for myself.
Let me ask you some questions: How many tin knockers do you know who created the “Ductwork Installation Guide” with the purpose to teach people?
How many tin knockers do you know who running his own website with the main goal to bring his knowledge and experience to the people who just started his career and for others who want to learn something else in this trade?
How many tin knockers do you know who have hundreds of happy customers – owners of the big 3 ˝ - 4 ˝ th.sq.f houses (some of them even 10 – 12 th.sq.f). Happy to the point one of them has said to me that he hate to finish his basement because nobody will be able to see the ductwork ran by my crew!
How many tin knockers do you know who wasn’t even temporarily laid off when the company had difficult times, nevertheless he almost always had a heights pay, company track and pretty rough English?
But what your achievements are? What is in your pocket?
Do you want to prove yourself, go on my website and participate in “How Did I Do It Quiz” + “Archives” send me your answers and we will see who is who!

That's funny, I know hundreds of tin knockers and 99% of them don't know a thermostat from a space sensor. None of them know anything at all about service work or any piping at all.

this is a cop out. I can understand anything you want to throw at me concerning this situation yet you refuse to prove me wrong. Why? because you can't.

You want common ground? Intelligence, if you have what you believe you have. I am confident I meet or exceed your IQ so throw your info at me, if you dare.

Your achievments? All I see is bragging with absoutely nothing to support it. I can claim anything but without proof, it is worthless.

Wow. what" aboout 165 pages divided into some 40 different chaprters?

No. It is obvious your intent is to bring their money to your pocket, nothing else.

Well, how many do you know? You speak quite regularly of "your boss" so he may have customers but you? ou work for a guy that has customers.

and this proves what? I know several suck ups that can claim exactly the same thing.

it is not my abilities that are in question here. It is your claims ans attempts to sell youself on this forum.

Wow. How to divide a length into equal section to place for grills. Wow!! I am impressed......not.

Oh, I love the companion forum you have. It looks like you use a dozen different names to post bs questions and answers. Either that or you attract everbody in the world that speaks exactly like you do.

Get over yourself. If you want to help the OP, then do so. If not, then go sell your wares elswhere. This is not a charge for an answer forum.

To nap: this exchange is absolutely useless you unable to prove your point just read it for yourself again and I can’t prove anything to you because you are already upset and you will reject anything what I say or what I do: you even reject my ability to copy and paste! So calm down, give it a brake, come back on my site, lets say, in a week from now and run though all the pages without anger and anxiety. Otherwise stay cool and good luck!

I'm not trying to prove anything. I want you to prove yourself since you are the one that has badmouthed everybody giving any advice claiming you are the only person that knows anything about the situation.

I offered the OP advice that will most likely remedy her problem. If you believe I am wrong, then toss out your remedy so I can disprove it.

and where did anything about copy and paste come in to play?

Here's the real question
How many successful tinknockers who run an ultra successful business need to hustle DIY sites for $20 answers?

None

Got an email from ol Ed today. Ed, I have no intention of defending anything I have said to anyone on this site. I gave free advice, so take it or leave it. I have never told anybody they had to pay me for anything on here. What I stated to anyone was dependent on the amount of knowledge they seemed to present. I surely wouldn't take the time to email you.
