Want to remove wall found heating/ducts

We started to remove a wall in our kitchen and found the heating and return ducts right smack in the middle of the wall! We have to remove this wall because it will enlarge our kitchen. How can we do this? We are putting a breakfast bar there or were going to anyway.
Anyone have any suggestions please help!

wondrgirl,
There are only two choices. If the ducts are far enough apart, think what it may look like if you built around them and make them appear as pillars. The second choice is to hire an hvac mechanic for the possibility of removing them and relocating new runs for the ducts to feed the second floor.

if the stacks (ducts)come from the crawl or are easy to access from below ,run them up a corner and have a drop ceiling or false header.or take them out ,and have electric heat up. hope this helps
