Veterans day Present from Uncle

This meter is made in the US..kinda fitting for the Holiday it was presented to me on.

The accuracy is .05 at 50,000 count per minute...this meter has all the functions of the familiar Chinese made 116 but with a wold class pinpoint accuracy that out stripes any other meter.

It data logs and downloads to a PC. There are functions on this meter I may never use.

It's overkill at it's highest level.

But I like it.

Thank you Uncle Clover and Thank You

For Your Service, ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER WAR TIME VETs.
HAPPY VETERANS DAY

Concerning typo:
jeeze you guys ...i hit the wrong key. Lighten up...

I think you're missing the point of this holiday. Veterans didn't fight for you to make a racist comment like "Chinknese". I'm sure you meant Chinese made junk, which nobody wants to have in their tool box.

Very nice meter.......

However....there have been plenty of Asian-Americans who have given their life in defense of our country so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have.....you might want to edit that out of your post.....because unless your an American Indian....your ancestors came from another country....you never know, you might have some Asian in you....

Too make you guys happy I will ask my nephew to correct his typo.

But make no mistake I am a war vet and do refer to to Red Chinese in the deserved manner you guys find so offense.

Informed Americans would know when a slang term applies to them or an enemy of the US by the context its used in.

I have heard a lot of crap talked about Greece because of the financial mess they caused. And I have read the derogatory names Americans call them ...but that does not bother me even though I am Greek-American cause I am not a Greek living in Europe and had no hand in the mess they caused.

You can talk about whomever you want to in whatever racist manner you want Clover, you've earned that right. Doesn't make it right or respectable.

The company I keep is an older crowd than yours. Their attitudes reflect the times times they grew up in. I make no apologies for it. How ever due to PC, I try not to use such language in mixed company.

Let it lay.

There is a world of difference between the Chinese and Japanese because of WWII. Japan invaded China the Chinese have good thoughts since both the U.S. and Russia wanted to stop the Japanese invasions. The U.S acted to protect Alaska and aid the Chinese with the famous "Flying Tigers" that were based in China and supplied from SE Asia (Burma and India). Russia had a very long front with China and had a lot to lose (Siberia and the places like like southern Russia) if Japan won. The result was that after the war, China turned to Russia, which was closer and became communist and Japan turned to the U.S. that wanted to rebuild Japan. Japan became a high tech and economic power that now has the highest labor cost and recently, China dumped communism and became much more aligned with the major countries by offering anything (good or bad) that the customers/importers wanted) using very high tech equipment since no amount of cheap labor can really manufacture for the demand required. The times have changed.

As you see from the equipment, China can make anything to high standards (or to lower standards for the price market), but do not give anything away. GM has had a plant in China to manufacture parts and components with a Chinese company as a partner. Ford is now moving into China with Chinese partners. Mercedes and BMW are still the big auto importers and China is probably the worlds largest manufacturer of cars in the world, but they do not export very many because of the local auto market demands there.

They still remember WWII and when I went to a ethnic park showing about 20 nationalities in the country in Kunming (Flying Tiger major base), my admission was automatically free because I was an American.

Too often, people get confused with the names on a map and do not understand what is there now. Then they put them in "slots" because it is simple if you do not understand.

Dick
