I wanted to know if I wanted to verify non-furnace or AC related ductwork is working properly (no leaks for water or air) from the home's ceiling all the way up to roof, who should I get to inspect that?
Someone from an HVAC installer/repair shop? A general contractor? Or a roofer?
The ductwork I want to check are the bathroom and laundry vents, and kitchen range hood vent. Want to make sure they're not leaking and particularly kitchen vent is not venting/recirculating the air/odors into attic due to leakage in ductwork.
Why not check it yourself? Not much to it just go in the attic and look to make sure there was foil tape on the seams, look for stained sheathing.
If you do not feel safe on a ladder then get a roofer to check out the sealing on the roof.
