Venting two adjacent bathrooms

My wife and I are in the throws of a remodel. I have two bathrooms that are side by side in to each which I'll be installing a heater/vent combo.

To avoid punching more than one hole in my roof to allow venting, can I have them vent through a single outlet? If so, what do I physically need in the way of ducting etc. a "Y" or a "T". How do I keep the exhaust from one bath going into the other?

Each of the units in question vents through a 4" opening.

You can do it with one vent out. Use a Y. Make sure that the outlet on the Y will handle the CFM for both fans. 4" will only handle one fan at a time. Also the termination vent will need to be larger.

Search in Google and use " bathroom exhaust fans' there are companies that make this specific item.
