Vent fan requirements?

I have a toilet room inside my master bath. In that room i will have a vent fan. My question is whether I need a vent fan in the other outer room by code? I have attached a picture to better see what I am talking about. Any help would be appreciated.

You need a small one in the small bath room and a larger one outside. I do not know the code of your area, but that is what I have. believe me, I use both fans all the time.

Check out the Panasonic website they have a way to have one fan motor and have the registers in two different locations, and only need one roof penetration.
It can be run with a 3 way switch so it can be turned on in two different locations
