variable motor


anybody's opninion on how cost efficient it would it be to add the variable motor to a new high efficiency furnace (electricity savings?)

Add on to an existing furnace, or gat a new furnace with a VS blower?

Adding on to a furnace. You won't get a ROI unless you run the blower 24/7, And your duct work is sized right.

Getting a furnace that has a VS blower, you'll get a small return, even if you don't run the blower 24/7.

If your talking about the Lennox MOD, as far as I know it doesn't come in a Standard PSC blower version.

Only 1 type of G71 and it has a ECM variable speed motor. No need to add it on. Great furnace.
