If you're looking for inexpensive and accurate, purchase a length of clear plastic tubing at your favorite hardware store and make a water manometer. A small amount of food coloring makes it easier for the old eyes to see . I also use mine to check PVC valve function on automobile engines .
Something like that but I don't feel successful unless I've used duct tape to hold the two tubes side by side and maybe guess for anything under 2" differential, but graduate to a tape measure for longer distances. I'm poor and mine must double as a drip irrigation tube in the dry arid climate when not doing manometer duty so it doesn't get attached to anything.
The static pressure in any of your ducts will be less the 1". Hopefully less then .3", an inclined manometer works better then just a straight up and down one.
Hello I'm new to this forums.
But with my pass experience a slant tube manometer or u-tube style will work..Hope i was able to help..
