upgrading from really used to newer used
Any tips on determining the effiency rating of a used furnace? This is a Consolidated Ind. unit that I can not look up specs on line.

You may want to look at this post currently on the 2nd page here "Quatro Mba 080 NH2R furnance manual "

It may not be the same company but sounds like it -- if it is they went bankrupt --

Good luck

I did see that. I guess I am trying to find other ways to determine the approx effiency rating (80%, 90%, etc...), other than just looking up the model number on line.

90% furnaces will have plastic intake and exhaust. 80% will have a metal flue collar for the B=vent to connect to. Hopefully your replacement furnace comes with instructions so you know what size vent to use.
