unconditioned garage

Hi learning more about insulation & ventilation than wanted to We have two car attached garage. Unheated garage only used for parking cars. Live in Ohio with lots of snow coming into garage. Garage ceiling had insulation. Have ridge vent and soffits in attic of garage. Never had a problem with garage roof or anything else with garage for that matter for 30ish years.

Last year a contractor blew insulation into three external walls of house and the two external walls of garage instead of wall between house and garage,(which happens to be wall of our master bedroom & bath). We are having that wall insulated this Fall.

Now we have a completely insulated garage. Odors stay in garage, moisture is a problem and paint is flaking off walls. We have been told that we either need to take the insulation out of the two external walls or put in a ventilation system and/or dehumidfiers. Do not want fan noises from garage to come into bedroom.

Please help

Small bathroom fan in ceiling, connected to come on when garage door opens, and run for 10 minutes.

Thank you, however, the garage is 20 ft by 20 ft and 10 ft High. I think there is a formula for ventilation fans based on area. Does anyone know this.? Remember, this is an extremely moist area with lots of snow melting slowly in an unheated garage. Thanks again.

Where is all this moisture coming from? If you put in an exhaust fan it will probably be be pulling in air past your garage door seal which has got to be where the moisture is coming from in the first place. So it doesn't seem to me that putting in a fan would help much unless perhaps you add a return from the house so the fan would pull in dry conditioned air as it exhausts the moist stuff.
