Question Types of flex duct and support method

In regards to insulated flex duct, what is the difference between black plastic covered flex duct and silver aluminum flex duct? Also what is the best way to support flex duct?:confused::confused:

the diff is quality ,you get what u pay for,the best way to hang it is to use a saddle a few inches wide and useing full lengths only when absolutly necesary .there is nothing worse than looking at a job done in with flex sagging everywhere !!! very low quality
