Type III termination clearance for skylight

Can someone provide the code refererence for the termination clearance of a Type III vent (for tankless H2O heater) and a skylight. The current plan is to install a Type III vent on one side of a ridge (4:12) about a foot from the top, and on the other side of the ridge install a skylight. The hinged part of the skylight will be about 8" from the ridge on the other side of the ridge from the vent.
Thanks!
