Type B Venting Question For Garage Heater

Hi There,

Just installed a garage heater and now am working on the venting. Question I have is how do you vent out a wall at an angle?

The pipe has to go through a thimble which doesn't allow any angle through it. So wondering do I try to angle the thimble in the wall or if there is a better way.

I'm angling a little per specs (1/4" per foot) and even more because i'm too close to soffet where it comes out to make the 6 1/2" thimble hole.

Thanks,
Dustin

Put the thimble thru horizontal and buy a adjustable B vent elbow and adjust it any which way you want.

I'm pretty sure it is, shows that configuration in installation manual. It's a Beacon Morris 45,000 btu

I ended up cutting the hole in the wall and seems to work just fine. It's not such an extreme angle as I thought.
