Type B vent thru ceiling

Trying to install my type B flue through the ceiling. Do I need to frame out around the pipe (1" gap around pipe) to prevent blowin insulation from touching it or is there another approved method? This is inside an insulated garage.

Was considering securing 6" duct and then chasing inside it the 4" exhaust vent. But seems like the framing is the preferred method. Am I on track here?

Thanks!
