Turn Off Pilot Lighs: Heater & Stove (Flea Fogger)

I have to turn off the pilot lights on my hot water heater and on the gas stove to get rid of fleas.....don't ask....

I read the posting on this website of the second valve that needs to be turned off on the heater, but for the stove?

Please advise and I don't want to blow anything up....
Thank you! Dana

I see that you have no response and you must need to fog the place. I would start with looking behind the stove to shut it off. then I would put a flame to the pilot. If it lites the gas is not off

if you turn off the valves mentioned, the pilots are out so a second valve should make no difference but go ahead and turn off all you see to be sure. be sure to check EVERYwhere for any type of heat or possible spark. we had a fight with fleas too. just ask if you'd like more info on how we killed em all off. dogs? cats? other?

I live in a mobile home and use propane gas for heat, hot water, and cooking. Whenever I work on anything to do with gas, I shut off the main supply valve to my home. After the work is complete, I relight the pilots and check all connections with soapy water to check for leaks.
