Truesteam Humidifier with High Velocity system?
Hi, I have a 2,000 sqft home with radiant floor heating. I also have a Spacepak mini-duct air conditioning system throughout the home. I am wondering if I can use the mini-duct air handler to distribute humidity from a Truesteam (or similar) humidifier. I'm thinking of mounting the Truesteam remotely and piping to the min-duct main line and having a humidistat kick on the air handler when there is a call for humidity. The air would be room temperature since it's not heated.
It's a vacation home in VT that is kept at 55 degrees most of the time we are not there if that matters. It's a post & beam home with lots of wood floors and I want to minimize wood shrinkage/splitting. Thanks. |
