trane XV90Thermostat block

Yesterday I installed a new totaline thermostat P286-1400 for my trane XV-90 080. The AC unit is a trane XL14i 2.5 ton. The reason for the thermostat change is to take advantage of the 2 stage Heating. The previous thermostat used only 4 wires I am using 6 wires, one extra for the common and one extra for the second stage. The question here is the two stage heating. There is a W1 & W2 on the furnace and the thermostat has a W2(first stage heating) and OBW(Second stage furnace). I have removed the W1 toW2 jumper and have placed the W2 furnace to the W2 thermostat, and the W1 furnace to the OBW thermostat is this right?

The second part of the question is thermostat advance settings. I have changed the Thermostat heating equipment settings to: two stage heat and air conditioning (single stage). There is a setting for temperature differential for stages of heating and uses 2 degree defaults. Then next screen can specify the number of minutes for which stage 1 will run before activating stage 2, can i disable this minutes function since the air conditioning is only 1 stage and only heating uses two stages?
I live in Northern Indiana and we are still cooling, the air conditioning is working fine. I want to try the heating but would like to make sure my stage wiring is correct.
