trane xv80 dead with a blinking light

I have a 11 year old trane xv80 heat and air unit. I know the warranty ended at 10 years.
The problem - when i turn on the heat using the white rogers thermostat i get nothing. no blower, no heat, no clicks just a blinking light on the board.
The vent fan - nothing comes on. The circuit board was replaced with a update three years ago and has worked fine. The temp is 4 degrees outside and this happens.
I turned the power off to the furnace and back on twice thinking it would reset. I just get a steady blinking light nothing else clicks or hums.
Is there a troubling shooting list or blinking light test?

The blinking light is on the circuit board- just steady slow blinking.

Jumper R to W at the thermostat and if that does not work then jumper R to W at the furnace control board. This is essentially bypassing the thermostat.

Slow flash is normal operation: no call for heat present

Thanks,
The red power wire and the wire next to it were cut or broken. I cut them all back and reinserted them on the board. Turned the power back on and the system fired up. Both wires were cut off at the insulation and i hadn't noticed until you mentioned the bypass. Very strange.
The temp is going down to 4 and now the heat works, Thank you
