Hi,
Wife and I just bought our first house. We have zone heating with 2 furnaces. This house is almost 130 years old (built 1880, remodeled 2002). From what I have learned it was easier to have a second furnace on the third floor and blow heat down through the ceiling for the second floor then run pipes from the basement to second and third.
They are same unit, both Trane XR 90.
The second unit located in the Attic is giving us trouble. When I try to turn on the heat, I hear two clear "CLICKS" from the unit and then I get 3 LED message which I have learned is PRESSURE SWITCH ERROR.
I have checked the filter, thats fine. Also when I switch the thermostat to the ON position (not auto), the blower comes on and just pushes air just fine. I can feel the air coming out on both floors and feel the air going into the intakes. As its moving into Mid December the second and third floors of the house are starting to get a bit nippy.
Thank you in advanced for help.
