Trane XE1000 Outdoor Fan Connection

I have a Trane XE 1000 A/C. I lifted the cover off the outside unit and accidentally disconnected the fan from the unit. There are three wires: purple, brown, black. How do I reconnect them so the fan will work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Brown and purple goes to the capacitor
Black to the contactor

Attached are two pictures: entire unit and the focused pic on the capacitor.

I only see one available spot on the capacitor and would that house the brown or purple wire?

Also, for the picture facing the entire unit, is the small electrical component in the right hand corner of the picture the contactor?

the capacitor on the right, not the one you took a close up of..... Purple to the same terminal as the brown/red wire and brown to the other terminal and black plugs into that blue wire with the pink cover on it.
