Trane XE 800 compressor fan wiring
I was cleaning my AC compressor fins and when I removed the housing the wires to the fan came off. There are 3 wires, black, brown & purple. Inside the housing someone wrote where the purple, red and brown wires attach to the capacitor but not the black wire. I've looked everywhere and no connection point is obvious. There is one wire that is blue and white and could receive the black bayonet fitting but the size and colors don't match. There are also 3 capacitors so I don't know which is which but I did an ohm test with my meter. I got no reading on the one that the fan connects to and I did get readings on the other two. Photos available. Any help would be appreciated before the temps go back up.Thanks, Mike
