Trane vs goodman

I am looking at getting a new furnace for my home. Switching from oil to nat gas. Lots of love to be saved there. Question is my choices are between and Trane 95% 2-stage and a Goodman 95% 2-stage. Which one will stand the test of time? I don't plan on moving for the next 25 yrs or so.

Also I live in Ottawa, Canada. We get a hell of a winter here.

Trane vs goodman

Trane is definitely the better name over Goodman, however it depends more so on the installation company and the warranty their offering. If a unit isn't properly installed right to the manufacturers specifications then your going to have issues...

Trane vs goodman

Id go with the goodman myself, warranty should be same if not better and parts are much easier to get and cheaper for goodman around here anyway.
Ive changed/warranteed out too many old trane wreck heat exchangers in the past on their old 80% furnaces, and i hate cleaning those old spine finned condensor coils myself

Nathan,
Why is the choice Goodman or Trane? There are some sales pitches in the last week (radio) where Holmes Heating/Reliance was offering a free AC unit with purchase of Bryant high efficiency furnace.

Just curious how you selection came to these two.

Good luck with whatever you choose.
