Trane heat pump Tstat and reversing valve

I have a Trane TCON900 programmable Tstat....

Downloaded the manual to try to find where the outdoor air cutout temp could be adjusted. I have heat pumps with gas back-up. Manual mentions this feature but doesn't tell you the code number or how to adjust it.

Also, 1.5 ton unit compressor just started "rattling" for lack of a better word....seems to be affecting performance but I haven't checked any temps. I just switched it to emerg. heat and am operating on the furnace right now. Thoughts?

Trane heat pump Tstat and reversing valve

installers guide

page 10

Option 345 should be set to 2
option 350 is the balance point.

I would call a pro to check out the noise/compressor operation......
