Trane furnace runs even after burners shut off

My Trane 80 furnace blower continues to run even after the burners shut off, and even after I shut the furnace off at the thermostat, this involves moving the selector from auto to off. With the thermostat set at 70 and the blower running continuously it will let the house temp drop to lower 60's or more. I do have a heat pump in the system also, but at -9 degrees I don't think this in the picture now. Once I remove the front of the furnace and engage the safety cut off switch and replace the doors again it will get back into the cycle for a while but then it will revert back to the same situation again. I did have a repair tech out last year on the same issue and he steel wooled what I believed was like a glow plug and this remedied the problem until a few weeks ago, but now it is doing it again. Is there a more permanent repair. I am using propane and understand that it has a tendency to dirty surfaces up. Not sure what to do but would appreciate some advice.

Have you cleaned or changed your air filter recently.

I have been to many service calls. that the customer swears he/she changed the air filter just a few weeks ago.
But I find a plugged air filter. Time passes quickly for some people. And they think they changed it more recently then they have.

Your description. is of a high limit running the fan because the furnace over heated.
You might want to recheck your air filter. And or change it to be safe.

Are all of your supply registers open. Are any of your returns closed or blocked.
Could also be a dirty A/C coil.
