Trane condensing unit keeps running

My trane condensing unit fan keeps running after the cooling cycle has stopped. If i go outside and lift the condensing unit up about 1" and drop it the fan stops. The AC lines outside have ice surrounding it also.
The AC unit will cycle again when needed and maybe or maybe not the condensing unit will keep running......Tom

The magnetic contactor that turns it on/off is probably sticking. Icing it up is VERY BAD for the compressor and can seriously damage it.
