I have no coil match. I need to purchase a new one without the old one to go by. I am having no luck in finding a part number for the AC coil that sits within the Trane xe80 furnace.

Do you have a Trane ac? If not you must use the model number off your existing ac to match the coil.

that is a 10 seer a/c. There is no correct match available for it today. I would just get a 3 ton coil that fits the dimensions for on top of your current furnace.

There is a very good chance that it is an R22 condenser. He has to know that in order to get the right 3 ton coil.
Because it has no coil now he needs to make sure he gets a suction and liquid line filter installed when the coil is installed.
Might also need refrigeration oil and Trane only reccomends their oil be used in their compressors.
This is not as simple as the question makes it sound.

Knowing that I need a 3 ton coil helps a lot. I just wish I had a part number to make sure I get the right coil. I thought this would be easy.
Thanks for the help.

Ever find coil? Post your furnace model, cannot select based on condenser model.
