Trane BLU080e9 24B1 burners won't start

Hello everybody this is my first post from Denver CO. the serial # is X16 546161
So my furnace won't start, the Tstat is calling for heat but it won't start. the high limit switch is showing power on both the line and load of fan and limit. I can read voltage when the wife turns on and off the tstat. I have replaced the thermacoupler what am i missing. i can jumper out the fan from the tstat.
what to try next????? :( the wife and kids have been with out heat for 3 days.

thanks
Carlos

Do you have 24VAC between C and W with a heat demand?
Jumping W to R at the furnace would bypass the stat and stat wiring.

If you get power to W with demand, measure for 24VAC between the 2 wires at your gas valve.

Verify that the 24 volt gas valve is turned on fully and not at pilot.

on top of the gas valve between the two terminals i am reading no voltage. if i go to common and one side or the other i am reading voltage. as to jumping w and r are u talking on the relay???? all the jumper does is kick on the blower motor.

yes i do have 27v between c and w.

Should be a manual reset spill switch on either side of the burners.

If this is holding out 24 volts to your gas valve the burners should be cleaned, the venting could be restricted or the heat exchanger could have holes in it. These are dangerous conditions and should be resolve before resetting and walking away.

there is no reset, on the side of the gas valve it says press and below that it says tap. in between the two words is a hex screw. which i think is the pressure regulator, dont want to mess with that.

I was speaking of a flame roll out switches in the burner compartment. Usually light blue wires to them.

don't see anything like that. even the wiring diagram does not show them.

Post some pics of that diagram. If you have voltage at W, and at both sides of the limit, a saftety must be open somewhere.

Getting late. Think I'll call it a night.

my buddy from work who is a hvac tech got if for me. it was a inline fuse /resistor. have heat again.
