Trane AC

where do you find a fuse for the 24v ac supply on a trane heat pump?

its a trane model wch042b100ca, a 2003 model.

I replace the orginal trane thermostat with a newer programable unit.

wires match up to new unit...now nothing works...no 24v ac on terminal connections on the new thermostat.

thanks

at the air handler the TR is either protected from a mimi circiut breaker on the back of the TR or if the 24Vs goes out to a board the fuse might be there to protect the board where the stat wires land from up stairs stat.if you seen nothing the 24Vs might have a one time fuse link inside the coil 24Vs side need a new TR
