Totaline to Honeywell tstat

Hi guys,

I've got a gas furnace and electric A/C with a Totaline P4740100 thermostat that I want to change out. The new thermostat is a Honeywell CT8602C.

The current wiring is:
Red - R
Green - G
Yellow - Y1
White - W1
Brown - C

The new thermostat doesn't have the connection for the "C" installed in it. Can anyone tell me how to hook this up?

I've looked through both of the manuals, but couldn't find anything that explained what to do with the brown wire...

Apparently the common is only to run the display on the thermostat, and since this thermostat seems to only run on batteries, the common is not needed.
