Things to look for when purchasing a used ductless split AC

Hi there…I’m in the market a ductless AC and I see many of these going up for sale on different used sites. Sometimes you might be lucky enough to see them still setup giving you a chance to try before you buy but more time then not they are already removed.

Are there things you can look for when considering to purchase a used system, a check list of sorts? I know that removal and how they are stored is very important as the systems internals should never be exposed to air…something about the fluid in them being hydroscopic

One unit I’m looking at is a LG LM-1830C2L, anyone know any details about this model?

the condensing section should be stored in the positive either nitro or freon from being un-installed the evaporator won't hurt eiter but the dry and orifice can be changed on install..the coils and condenser fan condition some items to consider..original compressor might want to consider also
