Thermostat Wiring Help Please
Hi, I installed a new Hunter programmable thermostat # 44860. The heater is working fine, but the AC wont kick on. I have a 5 wire system. Please look at the attached photo and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Looks like you need to jump out Rc and Rh, at the t-stat, but read the directions.

You were correct, it needed a jumper (dispite what the instruction manual says "on five wire system remove jumper"). Thank you for your help.

Thermostat Wiring Help Please
Greetings!
I have bought 3 of the Hunter Programmable thermostats model 44860. I am not clear on the refresh function. Based on the manual, I should be able to program the refresh mode during specified hours. This does not seem to work. The refresh mode only works when selection is made on the fan icon. Do you have any information or how to program the refresh modes other that what is in the manual. Clearly the manual doses not give all the detail. Otherwise it work great! Sincerely, tedlaw2 |
