Hey guys, thanks for all the help. Yes the furnace is in the attic. The furnace is a Ruud silhouette gas furnace model # ugp-j-05eaver. Is there a float on furnace's in the attic?
At least that makes things clearer. Have you not been, or never been up there to inspect the equipment? If you are unable to access the equipment, you may want to contact a hvac contractor to look at it.
Why are you going to hold me responsible for someone elses actions?
No one is holding anyone responsible. If anything, clarity helps from the OP whenever a person starts a thread, especially if they are new. Too many start threads, that you need a crystal ball to figure out. My father & the military taught me the six step process of troubleshooting. Also, with having to work with a checklist & flow chart, with any job that I have had, including my current, it cuts out a lot of the chase, when a person states all pertinent info in what they are trying to achieve, instead of leaving holes, and dead ends, and having everyone try to guess as to what the problem is.
I know that in this age of text messaging, and twitter, that you only get so much to state something, the great thing about this board, is that you are given a large amount of data space to achieve what you want, to try to have people help figure out a solution.
