Thermostat to fan wiring

I'm trying to wire a normal house fan to be controlled by a ritetemp thermostat and can't figure out which wires go where.

Your link provided a whole list of available models. Which one do you have, and have you clicked the link for wiring assistance?

Thermostat to fan wiring

The "G" terminal on the thermostat subbase is usually fan.

The link works for me (Safari) but it's the 6008 model. I have looked at the instructions many times but it doesn't show how to wire a common household fan, only HVAC units.

I had the 6004 model but it only works for heaters and I just need mine for cooling. The wires for it didn't have R, RH, RC, W.....etc just line and load.

IF your old thermostat had "Line" and "Load" terminals on it, then it was probably a line voltage unit. The 6008 model is a different type, that usually operates on 24 Volt systems, and only controls relays that do the actual switching.

These are not compatible, and you need to return it for a line voltage unit.

It would appear that none of the thermostats listed on the site you referenced will work with your application.

Here is an alternate site for line voltage cooling thermostats.

Model LV3 might be a good choice.
