Thermostat Change

Just bought a new house, the old owner passed away so don't have much info on the system.

Runs an electric forced air furnace (American Standard TWE036xxxxxx) and a seperate air conditioner.

Controlled by a Sears brand thermostat (C387-xxxxx).

It looks to have 6 wires coming through the wall, from what I've read, this is probably a multi-stage furnace/thermostat?

The thermostat is connected as follows:
W1 - white
W2 - black
Y1 - yellow and red (2 seperate wires)
RH - red (jumpered to C)
C - red (jumpered from RH)
G - green

I found a Honeywell programmable t-stat at Home Depot that says it's compatible with a multi-stage system. Will I just be able to swap over the wiring as above or...?

Thanks in advance, appreciate any and all responses (even if they're intended to make fun of my lack of knowledge )
