Thermostat

That means that your thermostat is not getting 24 volt ac power from the furnace, and is running off it's battery or capacitor only.

This can mean that your 24 volt fuse is blown in the furnace, the 24 volt transformer has failed, or the entire furnace does not have power for some reason.

Thermostat

Hi wade52

Pull the thermostat off the subbase, let it set on the table for about thirty minutes. Reinstall the thermostat and see if it works again. The Honeywell digitals are very sucebtible to static shock, if you touched thermostat with and static dicharged into it this will happen. Letting it bleed down removes the malfunction. If it does not work after bleeding it down you will have to replace it.

Good luck
Rusty
