Thermal Zone Ductless Minisplit

Contractor came over and gave me a price of $3,000 installed for a Thermal Zone ductless mini-split.

Problem is, I can't find any information on the Internet about "Thermal Zone" splits, except for:

http://www.irproducts.biz/Documents/...TZ-ACSpecs.pdf

It's obviously an import. Contractor claimed it was a Fujitsu or Samsung with a "Thermal Zone" sticker on it.

Anybody have any knowledge of these units?

Thanks,

Chris

Never heard of it and the contractor can tell you anything. Call your local A/C supply store and see if parts are available for it. That is the important part.

Just found it interesting to hear from someone in CR, where we are headed in a couple of weeks (dental and see friends). Interesting that mini-splits are in high use there - I will be especially watching for them. Since I was not in the market for one when last there, I did not pay much attention, but it certainly makes sense.
