tempstar ignitor will not light pilot

I have a tempstar furnace model #NTG9125FKA2.I have had a HVAC company come out to convert it to natural gas from propane l and was told I needed a new valve. They put on the new valve and realized I needed a new pilot orifice.Got that put on and the ignitor would glow but will not ignite the gas from the pilot. They then told me that it would 400.00 to replace the ignitor! So called a supply store and got the ignitor for 62 and some change, put it on myself only to have no change. Not sure where to go from here.

Hate to sound silly but is the gas valve and propane supply turned on? Propane come out of the pilot tube at the gas valve when the ignitor is on?
If yes to all of the above it's probably a speck of dirt plugging up the new LP pilot orifice.
