Tempstar blower not coming on for heat

The limit is only in the burner circuit, it doesn't effect the blower.

Trace where the wires from the blower motor go.

The "fan limit" control ..IS the control that starts and stops the blower/circulating fan AND shuts off the burner if the fan doesn't start and causes excessive heat in the heat exchanger

Yes. but the pic he drew. he doesn't show the fan side being wired in.

working late again, so won't be able to look into this more until tomorrow (thankfully it's not going to get too cold tonight).

correct on the limit control: there is nothing wired to the fan limit, just on the load limit.

The blower is connected to a timer/sequencer. Just follow the wires from the blower to their source.

Thanks... will do.
RE: the timer/sequencer... would that be this (luckily I have a bunch of pics with me tonight)...

ben sr:
Sorry... just realized that you were asking for a picture of the bottom with the door off. in my sleepy state before I thought you were saying that the bottom door might be off. Anyway, I don't have a pic of that with me, but will get one posted here as soon as I can.

Greatly appreciate the help.

Thats your blowers timer. Its also a limit switch. The Honeywell may be an aux limit.

AHA! Get the point! however, that's why I said fan limit OR board. Should have added timed limits..if I had known about them

just like cars ..keep on getting more complicated all the time..but, for better performance...never mind college/university education for your kids ..get them into a trade!!...unless they are obvious Doctor/Lawyer or Engineer material!

BTW you can teach an old dog new tricks

ben sr (or anyone else):
I'm not sure what the sequencer is on my unit. Would that be handled by the Honeywell S8610U control board?

Regarding ben sr's earlier request to see lower panel, here's a pic of the interesting parts:

Side note: as long as I had the unit open I made sure that the exhaust vent pipe was clear.

as beenthere said the blower timer is also a limit ..I presume that would be your operating temperature limit which turns the fan on when the heat reaches operating temp...so, I would think that is where the problem is because if the blower doesn't come on at that time then the unit will shut off on High Heat which I think is the other fan control

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I replaced the control fan timer (HQ1005229WA) today and I'm back up and running.
