tempstar 7000 inducer noise

i have a 1990 tempstar 7000 furnace.I replaced the inducer blower in november when the fan was rubbing on the housing presumeably from being old.the new one worked great until last week when i started to notice a noise when it would shut down.it was a rumbleing noise right when it shut off but it didnt happen all the time. maybe a couple of times at night.when i pulled it off to have it warantied it seemed to have quite a bit of water in it.is that normal? it seems to be draining correctly out of the hose. anyway, i put the new blower on and its making the same noise.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Has the vent pipe sagged.

Noise is likely water being 'slapped' by id fan wheel. Water should not be pooling in fan. Check and clear hoses, small ones and larger ones to drain. Do search in HVAC section for word 'paperclip'.

thanks for the response. the vent pipe appears to be straight. I am going to re level and hang the vent this evening as it is hung useing wire and not real stable. I will also check and clean the drain and trap. I will let everyone know how it goes. thanks again for the responses.

Vent pipe isn't suppose to be level. it should slant back toward the furnace.

as suggested make sure exhaust pipe is slanted back to furnace about 1/4" per foot ...should solve your problem...

Yeah if his condensate lines are clear, which they probably aren't.
