my last guess - I think its overcharged - is that 85 psi low and 400 psi high ? if r22, then I think that means freon overcharge.

If it's R22, and it's stabilized, then I'd think either:
1) If TXV, then perhaps dirty condenser, in which case AFTER cleaning the unit would likely be undercharged
2) If cap/orifice, then restriction somewhere on the liquid line or metering device, and overcharged a bit.
But we'd really need to know more about the system ...

To a complete novice, how would you describe those readings? Blue is low side, Red is high....and that's as much as I know.
I mean, is that a high reading on the low side? Because my system is doing that, or was, when the last tech came and said my system was overcharged/overcharging and took out some R410
|

The low side reading would be low for R410A.

Those Rheems take abuse. Unfortunately, their well made cabinet hides the dirt/blanket, so a lot of people don't realize how dirty the coil is.
Surprised it wasn't low on charge also.
