stuffy air...Any pro suggetsions?

I have a recent Carrier Infinity with controller, MERV filters and General Air humidifier which seems to be working fine, but this week I am either suffering from sinusitis or early allergies. Its 4:30 a.m. and I can't sleep again because I am stuffed up and gagging and my throat feels dry as well, even though my humidifier is set at mid range.

I have been in several homes through the years which may have had an ozonator or similar, which had what I can only describe as very clean and fresh smelling air like after a spring rain and it reminded me of the ozone smell I have experienced at home show booths

What can I do with my program settings or add to my system to get that consistent air quality and fresh, humid smelling air all day and night

if the ducts are leaking then you may be depressurizing the house and pulling in air from a crawlspace or from combustion appliances. Best to have the house tested by an home performance specialist that will use a blower door to test the house air flows, leaks and combustion requirements.
