Static pressure question

This is more a theoretical question, not really about anything specific.

Lets say I have a fan or blower that is pushing air through a 8 foot spiral hose. That hose creates a certain amount of static pressure that the blower has to run against.

Now if I add another idential 8 foot spiral hose on the intake side of said fan, does that increase the static pressure more, or does it just equalize because there's already "forward" static pressure? Basically if you have a 16 foot air hose, is it more effective to put the blower in the middle then at either end, or does it not matter?

Static pressure question

TESP, is accumulative. Adding another 8' increases the static. Weather you add it to the return or to the existing 8'.

However. If you add that hose to the return. The static in the supply would decrease, because you increased the return static.
