Check out the Ultra Series 3 (modulating) boiler:

Beenthere and Plumber 101 may be especially interested. Uses a similar negative pressure modulating gas valve as the Lennox G71, Sweet technology.

I started installing the Ultra, back when it was Sereis 1.

Great boiler, easy to install.

I'll have to keep this in mind. I only service three boilers in my area. Not very popular here.

Thanks
Yuri

Looks really interesting. Can be wall mounted. Preconfigured for outdoor reset etc etc. There are now ECM circ pumps available, which will work better when several zones are off. Great technology.

Does this use a t'couple to detect a flame fault? I didn't see one on the parts list.

Nice install John. The gas valve modulates so you would need a combustion analyzer. I like the high end stuff. Keeps me real busy as the dummies are scared of it and not motivated enough to learn it.

Nope.

The flame is very stable.

The burner modulates, but the flame is stable under its full modulation.
