Starving AC System & Flexible duct pricing

A 12" with a return from your bedroom and another area would work fine.

Only making it a 10" from the unit, woul increase the 16" velocity since you would still be pulling 1200 plus CFM through it.

Could you elaborate on this a little? ...The little mice running around my head are having a hard time grasping this concept.

Run a 12" from the return plenum of the air handler. To the general area where the second return in the hallway will be. From that point, you can run an additional return line to your master bedroom if you want.

Bedrooms generally only require their own return. When the door is closed, and the door is not undercut. Or undercut enough.
