can any body tell me why 2 air handlers will work on a three set system and the third one not {it blows hot air only} does the system lose the refrigerant for all three or can it only lose it for any one if that line is leaking please help not getting anywhere with fitjitsu

I don't understand your set up. you mean you have 2 evaporator coils and 3 condensing units ??

Is the setup an approved setup? That is, does Fujitsui confirm that this sort of setup will work for your equipment?

Have you contacted your installing contractor? Or is this a DIY project (and if so, where'd you get the refrigerant from)?

The refrigerant circuits are all interconnected, so a leak in one would result in a refrigerant loss for all. More likely this is a problem with the evap system. When you call for cooling ONLY with the 3rd one, does the outdoor unit run?

yes the config is correct i spoke with fitjitsu myself ,i got the contractor from the supply house but i was not too happy when i started seeing problems i just wanted to pay someone and have it done right ,when the units did not work the first time i let them do thier thing as i knew nothing at that time then when it became evedent they did not understand the system i became involed ie learnig about the min and max run both indiv and overall aswell as no horizontal loops only vertical ( which was all wrong ) but fixed and recharged , so from what i am understanding if 1 blows cold the units are all charged but you suggest i review the config of the units is there any other possible reason,
thank you very much for getting back to me you already have been more help then the supply house and the installer

I understand now, you have a single condensing unit which supports 3 evaporator coils. As mentioned already, the refrigerant is shared, you lose one, you lose all. The question now is, asked by scotttmcd... when you turn on the third air handler, the condensing unit may not be turned on.

That is generally true, but we need to know more about the setup. For example, if you turn on Evap 1 and Evap 2, does those work okay? What about if you turn on System 2 and System 3 ONLY? Do those work okay?

So do this:

Turn on Evap 1 ONLY, let it run for a few minutes. Does it blow cool air?

Turn off Evap 1 and turn on Evap 2. Does it blow cool air?

Turn off Evap 2 and turn on Evap 3. Does it blow cool air?

Now turn on Evap 1 and Evap 2. Do they blow cold air?

Turn OFF Evap 1 and turn on Evap 2 and Evap 3. Do they blow cool air?
