Size if return vent

I opened my wall in my garage to find a return without an insulated pipe. I have to move it any anyway to open a door. Since its an outside wall, would you run 6" vent pipe, insulate and attach to existing main return line? Thanks.

What does it serve? A tiny 8x8 room with a 4" supply could get by with a 6" return. Anything bigger and I'd want at least an 8".
