safety overflow switch trane xl14i


With the switch in the housing the unit will short cycle. Remove the switch the unit operates normally.
Trane authorized dealer serviced the unit to no avail.
Condensate line is clear...no water in the safety switch elbow,
Unit is located in the garage.

Did he even check the switch to see if it was working properly?
